In the shadow of the apple tree

The Doe. In the shadow of the apple tree, an apple planted last year that the deer have nearly killed this year, it's broken limbs hanging broken. She stopped to nibble at a treat block in the field, the Crows and Ravens stop in frequently during the day too.

It's Twins again!

I spotted the "grey faced red" mom out around 8:30am this morning,
the mosquitoes in the woods must be bad with all the rain we've been having.

She ran up to one of the fawns then within a minute she had two running up beside her.

Had to keep putting breakfast down (cold toast again...) to pick up my camera to get these pics...

One of the fawns is a good listener, the other strays off on his own quite often.
