Halloween Friday 2025
Monday, Rose is tearing through the perennial beds, lots of grass was taking over, its a huge job, she already did the large lily bed and worked on the rose bed today.
We've moved the deer yard closer to the house now, its a long walk out there with feed and it'll be way worse in the snow and ice.
Rose cleared another perennial bed and a couple smaller beds along with cleaning up Winston's runway on Tuesday.
Sliced up a dozen peppers and a few onions we added mushrooms too. We cooked then all up, and into bags in the freezer they went, we'll use these in casseroles, soups, with steaks, and for fajitas.
Wednesday Rose did a bunch of leaf-blowing around the house now we just need to rake the piles onto a tarp and drag them out to the side hill.
Thursday 4:30AM I went out to do skunk patrol before letting the dogs out and there was the cottontail rabbit over by the garden, it was great to see they're still here.
The class was tasked with writing to a favorite author, the class chose Kurt Vonnegut and he responded...

The green tomatoes on the counter are ripening fast now.HALLOWEEN FRIDAY NIGHT! We'll probably go downtown and walk around to see all the Witches and Goblins. Halloween was a subdued affair this year, the cold, and the winds kept a lot of kids home, there were more adults walking around in costume than kids. LOL, we saw and entire family of 5 all dressed in full body skeleton suits.
Saturday, I had to tackle the pellet stove, the auger wouldn't run to pull pellets into the burn pot, saw something online saying if a pellet fines door wasn't sealed vacuum wouldn't pull and the Auger wouldn't drive pellets, I took the back of the stove off and low and behold the door was on slightly crooked, I took the pellet fines door off, rejiggered it and tightened it back on! Viola! It's fixed and running great!
I cut out a bunch of Sumac trees out in the main garden, these things grow so fast they can get a head of you quick. Rose tested the outdoor Xmas lights to make sure they all worked, we'll need to replace one set.
We've moved the grain barrels up by the house so they are easier to fill in 2 feet of snow. We've not seen any Bear signs around this year so we're hoping they'll leave the barrels alone and have moved on.
We got the Bump out on the camper pulled back in. We got the new bathroom door out and ready to paint.

I signed up for the company benefits package, insurance is up $145/pay period...
Sunday morning I cut up all the remaining tomatoes for a chili we'll make soon.
Sunday we raked up all the leaves under the Maple trees raking them onto a large tarp to drag off the the hill by the pond. Then off we went to take down some hanging branches that were threatening to come down and a couple more Sumacs that had sprung up this summer.
We're off to Mom & Dads Sunday Nov 2nd in the evening, and then hit Tractor Supply for grain dog food and another deer block. Rose noticed at least three homes we drove by already had their Christmas trees up! Guess what we'll be doing this week.

Rose raked up a few of the remaining perennial beds, and put out the driveway marker stakes for our plow guy.
We are dealing with a Democratic Party that is so extreme, it considers its opponents to be its mortal enemies.
It’s becoming hard to keep up with all the Obama/Biden scandals that are emerging, because it seems like a new one pops up every day.
- And eventually like the Boy Who Cried Wolf, they start to fall on deaf ears.
- But the difference here is these aren’t fake. This isn’t crying wolf. This is just one massive, real scandal after another coming to light.
- And “Arctic Frost” may indeed be the worst of them all, so I wanted to take a moment to explain to you very simply what it is so you understand and keep it in mind going forward.

- CNN finally says the quiet part out loud: the Left has chosen socialism over America.

Every once in a while, the mask slips — not because someone pulls it off, but because they forget they’re wearing it.
This week on CNN, America got one of those rare, honest moments.
And it was breathtaking.
Their senior data reporter Harry Enten didn’t rant.
He didn’t editorialize.
He didn’t accuse Republicans of terrorism or domestic extremism or any other word the Left uses to describe people who still know what bathroom to use.
No — he just showed the numbers.
And the numbers revealed the truth the Left normally hides:
Democrats are officially the Socialist Party of America.
Not “leaning.”
Not “flirting.”
Not “experimenting.”
They’re in. Whole hog.
Having been called a liar by Anthony Fauci for saying that "not one of the 72 vaccines mandated for children has ever been safety tested", RFK Jr. sued Fauci.
- After a year of stonewalling, Fauci's lawyers admitted that RFK Jr. had been right all along.
- "There's no downstream liability, there's no front-end safety testing... and there's no marketing and advertising costs, because the federal government is ordering 78 million school kids to take that vaccine every year."
- "What better product could you have? And so there was a gold rush to add all these new vaccines to the schedule... because if you get onto that schedule, it's a billion dollars a year for your company."

Democrat strategy:
- Do a bad thing.
- Do it often and hard.
- Deny it ever happened.
- Wait for the inevitable compilation video showing it did happen.
- Double down, calling Trump Hitler twice as often while denying it twice as hard.

Study was unable to find a protective influence of influenza vaccination among working-aged adults during the 2024-2025 respiratory viral season and found that influenza vaccination was associated with a higher risk of influenza when influenza activity was high. The mere fact that Trump ran and overwhelmingly won infuriated his enemies. Once more, he had denied them the coronation of an American queen. Worse yet, he had taken out two foes in the last election, Biden and Harris.
The Democrats upped their game, likening him to Hitler, a fascist, a dictator. They whipped up their base fully knowing that some weak-minded fools would take action, up to and including attempted assassination. Each time an attempt was made, they called for conservatives to tone down their rhetoric, as if that was the problem.

Trump’s presidency is the polar opposite of that of his low energy predecessor. Trump is a whirlwind, hitting every problem in sight (and then a few), always driving for immediate results, unwilling to wait patiently for the ice to thaw between political opponents. Democrats call it authoritarian, but I’d argue that his aggressive fix-it-now approach is exactly why we elected him and shouldn’t surprise anyone.
Since Kash Patel and Tulsi Gabbard started releasing hidden records from the Biden administration, we’ve begun learning that there are no limits to what the Democrats will do to cement one-party rule.
Obama started what looks like a conspiracy, when he had a Clinton campaign dirty trick included in an Intelligence Community assessment (ICA). The ICA eventually triggered a formal federal investigation, known as “Crossfire Hurricane,” targeting Donald Trump.
Merrick Garland, Christopher Wray, and Jack Smith cooked up an operation in support of their January 6 investigation, which conveniently violated the due process rights of Republicans, and conservative advocacy groups. It was called “Arctic Frost.”
