Veterans Day 2025!
We had a half dozen nice size turkeys come in Wednesday morning around 7:30AM to clean up any leftover grain in the deer yard.
We still need more rain, the well is still spitting, so we have some water, just not enough, we're still hoping for lots more before the ground freezes up.
The Full Moon was bright in the sky Tuesday evening
Rose put up the bird and suet feeders last week, no birds are coming in though.
We were again supposed to get high winds 10PM Wednesday into Thursday morning, we didn't, OK with me, less branches to pick up.

Our Bluebirds have been going house to house, not sure if they're looking for a new winter abode.
Rose smelled skunk early Thursday morning, I'd kinda hoped he'd moved on.

I went out Thursday night to see if I could see the Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) last night, Nope not here...
We're still hustling around, trying to get everything done before winter officially hits, it was 28 degrees this morning and although Accuweather doesn't show snow or freezing rain until December 16th there's still lots to do.
- Tractor needs putting away, one down one to go
- Snowblower needs to be brought up to the house - Done
- Remaining sand barrels put out - Done
- Putting the quilts out on the clothesline - Done
Friday morning Rose saw a Coyote crossing the field at 8:30AM in the morning, I scrambled to grab the camera but missed her.

We did some food shopping, MB had turkeys, we'll pick up ours next weekend.
We're working today, patching up the corner of the workshop.
We're getting the old dead tractor and a couple of old push mowers out of the barn in preps to put the newer tractors in there. We re-arranged moving the quad sideways so we had more room in the barn so we can fit the two tractors inside. We managed to get the old tractor onto a trailer to get it to the dump. I need to get the gas and oil out of the two push mowers.
Brought the snowblower up to the house from the barn, it started right up on the third pull!

We picked up a small pot roast we'll cook up for Sunday, we're putting lights on the Christmas tree, it's supposed to RAIN!

The deer did not come in Saturday evening, very odd. The doe and her two fawns did come in just before dark on Sunday, they are growing like weeds.
I let the dogs out at 6:30pm the air was crisp and cold, winter's here folks.
Five Deer came into the deer yard on Monday evening, the herd is growing.

Rose and I went out to see the Northern lights spectacle it was damned cold out, 31 degrees and windy! A small area of green was visible on the northern horizon, 15 minutes later a much larger section of the skyline was red and green. Wednesday night its supposed to be peak viewing! Wednesday, it's trash day, noticed the Poplar trees have finally lost 99% of their leaves.

Rose has been pulling out trugs of Christmas stuff, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here, little by little!
Wednesday evening around 6pm a Raccoon and the Coyote were out in the deer yard, coyote followed him out if the yard.
Worked on the solar system for a while, both batteries are charged now!
Went out around Wednesday 8pm, nope, no northern lights tonight.
The fox came in at 9:30 PM Wednesday evening, something spooked him.

checked for northern lights again at 4:30am, skunk patrol it was
spitting snow and was cloudy. I did see the cottontail rabbit though.

The gatekeepers for the woke communist movement are obviously Democrat politicians and media influencers. They have been consistently and actively encouraging mass hysteria and violence. They have used media spin to protect activist groups like Antifa, pretending that such organizations don’t exist. Whenever activists cause harm or death, the media and political leaders immediately move to defend that action as if it was justified.
When asked why Democrats are continuing down the path of militancy, their response is that Donald Trump is a “dictator and a fascist.” Yet, these same people can’t seem to come up with a single legitimate example of HOW Trump is acting like a dictator.
Deportations of illegal immigrants? Most countries on Earth have basic immigration laws and enforce them much more harshly than the Trump Administration does. Cuts to federal programs and employees? The President is perfectly within his power of office to reduce waste in the federal government. How about using the National Guard in US cities? Democrat leaders in those cities have aided violent activists, helping to disrupt ICE operations while threatening the lives of agents. If they don’t want the National Guard in their cities they should stop waging war on immigration officials.
From Trump’s remodeling of the White House ballroom to the US troops countering drug smugglers, everything Trump does is blown out of proportion by Democrats into an “end of democracy” scenario. Their useful-idiot followers then take these claims as permission to create even more turmoil.
The government shutdown in particular is becoming a nexus point for this agenda. The Senate needs only five Democrat votes to reopen the government with a clean funding bill, but Democrats refuse to see reason. Meanwhile, they are blaming Republicans for the consequences of the shutdown, specifically seeking public pain as leverage over conservatives.
Trump is already being held accountable for a prolonged shutdown of EBT. The Democrats know their audience well. They know that the free-stuff army is entitled, vicious and easy to manipulate
The only possible counter to that is to dump the filibuster, pass the CR, and then leave it dumped. Push all twelve budget bills through with all the defunding of all the crap programs and agencies. Get rid of unnecessary Departments, overturn roadblocks and rules. Make everyone in the federal government outside the Judiciary and Legislative branches answerable to the president. No independent taxpayer-funded agencies, and while you’re at it, there’s no such thing as an NGO if it gets money from the government. Fix it.
For the political left, any disagreement with the majority leads to immediate ostracism. The hive mind does not tolerate individual rebellion. Only the gatekeepers can change the mindset or the mission of the mob. It is strange then that this dichotomy has resulted in conservatives, with their values of liberty and independence, seeking order. Meanwhile, leftists, in their Orwellian uniformity of thought, seek chaos and the deconstruction of civilization. You would think the relationship would be reversed, but this is the way it has always been.

Either illegal immigrants are getting healthcare benefits or they’re not. In this case, two things cannot be true at the same time. Despite that, Democrats are still trying to claim that illegal immigrants are not getting healthcare benefits when they, in fact, are. And the Democrat Party wants it to happen. Here’s the receipt. The illegal immigrant burden on our healthcare system is monstrous, and the Democrats have been unashamedly defrauding the American people by the billions of dollars to fund it.
How exactly are they pulling off this heist? Until the Republican Congress passed and President Donald Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill Act into law earlier this year, Democrats employed various methods to get away with pilfering American taxpayers’ pockets. This is exactly why the Democrats are keeping the government shut down — because the OBBA makes it more difficult for them to give out “free” stuff to people who are not citizens of this country.
