March - In Like A Lion

March - In Like A Lion

Rose and I got our eye appointments taken care of today,  yay, only a year wait for an appointment...  we're both good, we'll get our new glasses in 2 weeks, we have our prescriptions so we can get spare pairs for both of us online at GLASSESUSA, or Zennioptical for a much lower cost.

Dad FINALLY got his 2nd cataract taken care of...  YAY, Dad.  Called him this afternoon, his surgery went well.

I've been meaning to touch base with Jarrod to find out if his water heater issues are all set now?  It wasn't heating up and was only a couple weeks old.

Here they come...

The Full Worm Moon March 18th

March’s full Worm Moon reaches peak illumination at 3:20 A.M. EDT on Friday, March 18, 2022.  The Full Moon is the Worm, Crow, Crust, Sap, or Sugar Moon; and (by some definitions) a Supermoon.  The Moon will appear full for about three days around this time, from Saturday morning through Monday night into early Tuesday morning.

Rose and I took a drive down RT. 13 towards New Boston on Wednesday the Piscataqua river ice is breaking up, massive slabs of ice are piled up on the river banks, amazing to see it. I don't imagine its fun for the folks along the river seeing it during break up.  Some of these ice slabs are the size of a car!

Talk about bad news...

Ticks Can Live to be 27 Years Old, Even After Eight Years of Starvation

Normalcy bias strikes when you refuse to accept what you are seeing or sensing as real.

It doesn’t hurt to be as prepared as you can,  it sure can hurt not being prepared, burying your head in the sand in the hopes things will quickly return to normal could hurt. Especially with everything going on in the world.

And just like that Covid is over...  Thanks to Corn Pop...

 Stay Safe out there...
