Woke up to Rain on Sunday morning off to get a haircut!

I'm off to Wisconsin Monday evening, I'll get to the hotel around 11:40PM

• Well I was anyway, 2 hr flight delay, missing a connecting flight, Avis car rental would be closed when I arrived in Milwaukee.  Cancelled and rebooked to a 5AM flight on Tuesday morning.
• Up at 2:30AM Tuesday for a 5AM flight, get to MHT airport at 3:30AM, my flight was supposed to get me into Milwaukee at 9:30AM the flight board shows a 5 hour delay now, I'd miss my connecting flight now multiple connections, and a layover arriving at 11PM NOPE!   AA flight desk person said no problem we can get you into Boston, and a flight to Milwaukee from there, 3 stops arriving at 11:38PM, again NOPE!
• I'll see what they can do maybe Wednesday, I am not spending all day "literally" trying to get into Milwaukee.
• I did get to see the full Blue Moon though so there's that...
• It was 46 degrees on Thursday morning in Wisconsin, brr
  
• I made it home from the trip, tired from all the early mornings waiting for planes that never arrived or were 2-5 hours delayed. I haven't walked that much in a while. One of my gates from gate A to Gate F in Philly required a 15 minute walk to get to, that's what the sign said, I took the suggested shuttle to the gate, glad I did, when I arrived at the gate I looked at the screen it said flight boarding in 3 minutes... I'd have never made it if I'd walked!         It sure is good to be home!

The bear or bears have been coming in a few time a week, they bent over the bird feeder pole.

Jason is leaving for Texas this weekend, He's joined the Air Force, he'll do his basic training at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio Texas. He came over Saturday we went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch, we were glad to see him before he left, he's on his way to Portland, NH Sunday then off to San Antonio Texas for Boot camp.

I added oil to the SantaFe, I saw the oil light blink on for a second coming out of the parking garage at the airport, the oil was low, I checked the lawn tractor as well it too was low topped them both off. 

We've got another quart of blackberries picked on Sunday

It's almost time to change the furnace filter, and clean the Pellet stove. Sad...

Mower's still giving us trouble, cleaned the air filter, and replaced the fuel filter, seemed better, then sputtered and stopped running several times.  I ordered a new spark plug, oil and air filter.

I cut all the grape vine main stems growing on the old apple in the back yard it was overtaking the apple.

We cut some sumac out of the forsythias along the property line

The Hops that grow up the Apple are doing well

The Concord grapes growing up along the driveway are ripening, you can smell them.

And why is that important? Because America, if anyone in your family, if your parents have ever owned a home, guess what? You're not a 1st generation homebuyer. No. You don't qualify.

So who does qualify?

I don't know. Maybe any number of the people that have been flooding into the country for the last 4 years? They would certainly be first generation homebuyers”
