That didn't go as planned

Our pellet stove was a much bigger deal than I initially thought, the parts I needed to replace, were factory replacements however, removing the original parts turned into a 4 hour ordeal, took an hour to simply remove a thoroughly stuck set screw on the fan which should allow the fan blade to just slide off.  Nope, the fan blade was fused onto the shaft, more tools, more swearin' 3 more trips to the workshop.  The job now involved sledge hammers, punches, and prybars almost every other tool in the shop, along with an 11/32" socket (Who uses these?) and a lot more swearin'...  Parts were finally removed, new ones are in, I installed the air blower now, they changed the design and added flanges to the new blower housing that I now needed to remove to install it. Jeesh... I Got it all put together Monday night, it works and is much quieter! Yay!

Tuesday morning the peepers were peeping at 4 AM

Saturday we took Zebulon to the VET to look at a skin tag that has grown bigger over the summer, we'll have it removed on Monday.

Saturday was leaf day, I tried and failed to get one of the tractors to run, hmm.  I tried to get the leaf vac attachment to fit our newer tractor, but couldn't, failing that I grabbed the leaf rake and started raking into piles. I rake the leaves onto the tarp dragging the leaf covered tarp to the garden adding them to the soil in the spring.  Rose used the leaf blower to corral the side yard leaves into piles for me, she got all the leaves out of the back yard too.

Loaded ships are still waiting off the coast of California because there aren't enough trucks that meet the state's emission standards to unload them — and it's going to get worse in 2023, when more rules kick in.  The ports are choked with cargo containers while perishables spoil and store shelves run empty.   It's a government-created problem.  What is the government's solution?  Mandate that port employees work overtime loading the trucks that aren't there.  It's government problem-solving 101.
