Mom, Dad, Jarrod, Crystal, Jason, James and his girlfriend Lee came over for a Christmas eve celebration on Sunday, Rose made a spiral Ham, meatballs, mashed potatoes and Mac & Cheese. Pies, cookies and brownies topped off a great dinner, We watched A Christmas Story and A Christmas Carol. Dad performed a magic show to the delight of all, he did Moms favorite Magic dog trick, Winston tried to get the dog... We all opened a gift or two... A great evening!
We're off to Jarrod's house Christmas morning to open more gifts!

Tuesday Rose and I cleared up from the party on Christmas eve, and finished playing with and putting away all the presents we had received. It was a great Christmas!
Jason is came over Wednesday afternoon to help me put in the LVP floor in the upstairs bathroom. We removed the toilet again, measured the floor for the starting course, drilling the hole for the water line in the first board, it went pretty well, measuring taking into account the 1/4" space you need to leave from the wall is hard to remember and account for, it's been a couple years since I did the downstairs bathroom, it's slowly coming back to me. We got all the floor laid, I still need to do the trim.
Rose Jason and I went out to Ollie's for dinner, we had the best potato skins
Jarrod got us a portable fridge/freezer, we'd let it sit for a couple days and plugged it in today, it'll run off of 12 volts in the car or a couple solar panels. Pretty cool!
Flashlight I rec'd from Jason came in real happy this weekend.

The Washington Examiner obtained internal U.S. Customs and Border Protection data Tuesday that revealed 14,509 immigrants were encountered by federal law enforcement at the southern border on Monday. The large majority of encounters were of immigrants who walked around the port of entry and crossed into the country illegally, while a small percentage tried to enter at the port of entry but were denied admission.

The next time you’re fondled at the airport by a TSA agent, look around. You may very well see foreign nationals ushered through security without proper documentation and disregarding every TSA rule. Language is hugely important, and gun rights opponents have long ago figure out that while they can’t control the facts of the debate, they CAN control the language in which the debate takes place. It’s actually quite clever but insidiously manipulative and tellingly fraudulent.
America is no longer taken seriously on the international stage, China is on the march, Iran got paid billions but is still launching attacks on US bases on a regular basis, Russia invaded Ukraine and destroyed its military, inflation hit record levels, gas prices are over a dollar more a gallon than 4 years ago, the border is wide open, more illegals entered the US than the population of New Jersey – our 11th largest state, and the FBI acts as a Stasi force for the regime.
Things are swell.

Polls show Americans are fed up and ready for a new direction. But a new era may not see the light of truth anytime soon.
