The concord grapes growing up the trees along the driveway are putting out a bumper crop this year, we'll have to try and make jam or something with them

 

We picked another quart of Blackberries Monday evening, and a few remaining blueberries. 

 

It's Dragonfly day again Monday evening they were out in droves eating a small whitefly rising up out of the grass 

Tuesday morning 12:39ish Zeb came running upstairs, thinking bear, he settled right down once he was in the bedroom.

 

Goffstown family night out tonight, we stopped by they were giving helicopter rides and letting kids into the chopper to look around.

We've finally got some rain soaking the parched ground, not enough probably but at least we have some...

Jason is stopping by next week to help us clear some room in the barn.

We're going to head to Kimbal's Ice Cream in Westford in a couple weeks our yearly pilgrimage.  We'll get ice cream, maybe some seafood, and play some put-put golf.

The deer are still coming into the deer yard during the day, sometimes early in the AM, other times at dusk, still surprises us to see the 10 pointer out during the daytime.

Looks like she might be pregnant, saw her again Thursday evening, definitely pregnant.

Rose finished weed whacking and she mowed the front yard, when I got home I mowed the remainder of the back field and hill, fields look great mowed, all the woody growth is now gone.  We still have more to do but a lot of the bulk work is finished, Fall is coming quick...

Zeb was up scratching at the bedroom door at 1:30AM this morning, I got up and let him in, he settled quickly.

We cooked up Burgers and Linguica for dinner Friday night, Rose made up a nice salad, and a Raspberry pie Yum!

Zeb was at the bedroom door again at 1:30AM again Saturday morning.

The Biden-Harris Administration has halted a highly controversial program that allowed tens of thousands of migrants from four countries to fly directly into the U.S. every month after it was reportedly discovered that the system was being abused by widespread fraud.

The internal review found evidence of fraud that includes the use of fake Social Security Numbers (SSNs), including SSNs of deceased individuals, and the use of false phone numbers. Many applications listed the same physical address. Some 100 addresses were listed on over 19,000 forms, and many parole applicants applied from a single property (including a mobile park home, warehouse, and storage unit). In addition, many applications were submitted by the same IP address. If this weren’t bad enough, the same exact answers to Form I-134A questions were provided on hundreds of applications – in some instances, the same answer was used by over 10,000 applicants.

The Biden-Harris four-year spending spree, largely for their climate change agenda, sent inflation up to 40-year highs, at its peak averaging about 9.1%. The Biden-Harris administration faced widespread public backlash as the Defense Department revoked a contentious plea deal concerning the 9/11 terrorists.  Friday’s sudden reversal by the Pentagon on a plea deal taking the death penalty off the table for three 9/11 terrorists has sparked an investigation and appears now to have been born out of panic over the public’s reaction to the initial agreement, as Fox News reports.

Do you believe Donald Trump?  He is entirely convinced that if we stay on the path that we are currently on we are heading into a “great depression”, and many believe that he is right on target.  Unemployment is rising, manufacturing activity is contracting, bankruptcies are soaring, home sales have fallen to depressingly low levels, the cost of living crisis never seems to end, poverty is soaring and homelessness is at the highest level ever recorded.  Since Barack Obama first entered the White House, our politicians in Washington have been propping up the economy by adding 25 trillion dollars to the national debt.  Now our national debt has crossed the 35 trillion dollar mark, and our politicians continue to spend money at a pace that is absolutely absurd.  But despite this tremendous influx of borrowed cash, the wheels are starting to come off the U.S. economy anyway.
