We have a new turkey coming around the past couple of days, he's picking up bugs out in the field and slowly makes his way to the deeryard, It's just a single tom so not a big deal, but if we get a flock of 6-15 birds they make a huge mess everywhere they go.
Have you noticed that you hardly ever get to talk to a real person anymore? It is all automated press one for English or two, listen for options, listen for options again and select, then...your call is important to us...please wait...your call will be answered in the order it was received...your call is being monitored for quality control purposes and then some person says ..."Hi this is Happy, how may I help you?" Well you have to repeat your name, address and phone number again...then Happy says " Please wait while I access your information" THEN the music starts, well you can bet your life's savings that it is not going to be the Oldies. I want options for my music...don't give that classical junk that is supposed to sooth my frazzled nerves...I want to press one for "I don't get no satisfaction" press two for "Eve of Destruction" ...

What is it with Democrats? They hate President Donald Trump so much that they can’t even mark Memorial Day appropriately.
- “Today, we honor the American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in Trump’s war with Iran,” the official Democrat Party account posted on X, along with a picture of the 13 American service members who have been killed this year. Whatever adolescent runs the account deleted the post after well-deserved criticism. They replaced it with a far more appropriate post to “remember and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country and defend our freedoms.”
The "Confusion Wave"—a deliberate psychological operation designed to make you doubt everything. Remember when masks were useless, then mandatory, then useless again? Remember when the lab leak theory was "disinformation," then suddenly plausible?
- This isn't incompetence. It is designed.
- The Confusion Wave works by flooding the information space with contradictory narratives until you give up trying to find the truth. You retreat into helplessness. You stop questioning. You become, as the book puts it, "a passive consumer of propaganda" rather than an active participant in your own life.
