crop of 2011 'twas a poor year for taters...'Something ate probably 60% of my potatoes this year, a bit disappointed, I'm going to start them in 3x3' boxes next year, 9 to a box adding soil and mulch as the plants grow.
I can better control the bugs, the water, and the weather if need be in a raised bed.Yukon Golds and Kennebec's fared the worse, out own (Maine's) "all purpose whites" that sprouted eyes did the best overall.
Wait'll next year!
