Drought
Not something you want to think about when you're on a well, we're OK for now but we're not watering the lawn either. Our pond level is fine for now, however the Piscataquog River is not looking so good, we drove by this morning, real low. We lost a crop of blueberries to low water conditions already and some of the shrubs are looking sad. We get threats of bad storms the always seem to split up and go around us so as it's been raining in areas we're left high and dry.
Squash are starting to come in. We're picking Summer, a couple zukes and patty pans are producing like crazy. Roses flower beds are spectacular this year, the whole yard is in bloom.
Pop-Up Camper
Rose is sewing like crazy, recovering all of the cushions, curtains, you name it it'll look real nice when she's done.Deer
Big ears is back with a fawn, we haven't seen her yet this year, Rose thinks she chased off the other pair that has been here, she's much larger than most of the deer around. Her fawn is small again this year though.
