Then there were Seven

Then there were Seven

Hah, Winter Storm Kenan was a wimp, we got about 6" for the most part, clean-up was a breeze, the snow was light and fluffy, it took us an hour start to finish to snow blow, that included the workshop, walkways, the deer yard, and the front yard.  I'm Ok with that...

1/30 Sunday, we went over to Jarrod's for Dinner on Sunday afternoon. A nice pot roast dinner, garlic bread, he made a huge pot so he sent us home with leftovers too. Yum!

Quiet and cold, lots of deer tracks, on 2/1 it was -0.4 Degrees F this morning, we're warming up, lol.

THE SEVEN

Thursday evening before the storm, Rose looked out and here they come, seven of them single file towards the deer yard. I took a couple quick shots, not a great pic in the lot, they were on the move, it was getting quite dark, camera was telling me to raise the flash, yeah I know excuses, excuses.. LOL.  The seven girls came in early tonight to get a bite to eat, good to see them in the daylight. We try not to light them up in the evening, only lighting up the yard to ensure it's OK to let the dogs out, otherwise the dogs sometimes charge to the corner by the gazebo and bark at them scaring them away.  Rose says one of the biggest Does is not nice kicking some of the smaller deer away from the deer yard.  This explains why they seem to vary times they come in sometime just a single deer will come in early or late in the evening when everyone else sleeps.

Thursday we're supposed to get ice...  By 7pm it was still raining the dogs were not impressed, other than drinking the contents of puddles.  Radar is showing a big green mass of rain headed our way at 45 degrees we can only hope that it doesn't turn to ice. Woke up at 5am this morning, raining, then sleeting, not a lot of traffic on the roads. This is supposed to keep up through 7pm Friday evening, it was still spitting snow at 10PM when I went to bed.

Saturday and Sunday were nice, we were off to the feed store.

Mercy Sakes Alive!  Looks Like We Got Us A Convoy!

Horse paste indeed...
To add insult to the profound injuries the establishment has inflicted on the American people, with more than 800,000 deaths attributed to COVID, a Japanese study confirms that ivermectin was always safe and effective:

Stay safe out there folks
