June 2025
She's right, Rose mentioned not only have we not seen the cottontail rabbits, but we haven't seen the Possum or the Raccoons lately.
Blueberry blossoms are done, berries are forming up.
Rained Friday night, and Saturday it was pouring when I got up at 4AM, by 5:30 AM it was pouring buckets.
Sunday Rose did some weed whacking, I moved and repaired the windmill and did some mowing.
Freddie
Sunday 9-10pm went out to check on the latest CME to see if we could see the Northern Lights, nope nothing to see here.
We retrieved on of the A/Cs from the shed moved it into the house it's supposed to be in the 90s Wed/Thursday.
Mixed up some weed killer, spraying under the windmill, and birdbaths. We pulled out most of the grass from the back Iris beds.
TIME...
Still my fave all time rendition of this Simon & Garfunkel song
Rose and I walked around the workshop and barn Thursday evening to review what we're going to do about paint and repairs on the buildings.
Mom & Dad are coming up for Dinner Friday evening it's been a while since they were up here. James joined us for dinner then had to leave for a graduation party at one of his friends houses.
It rained like crazy Friday into Saturday, Jarrod called Saturday said James ended up having to leave his car and walk home due to the washed out roads in Hillsborough, a lot of damage in the town.
I checked the Website for Hooksett Fireworks, I was concerned with the new tariffs that prices would be sky high, most if not all fireworks come from China. I was pleasantly surprised they are keeping prices the same as last year!
I mowed the front yard Friday afternoon
It's the town-wide yard sale tomorrow Saturday, always fun!
Still need to replace the trailer's tail lights.
We picked up some lumber Saturday AM, they were all out of 1x8"x8' boards
The mosquitos are so bad, we got eaten alive hooking up the trailer to get lumber if you're not careful they'll carry you away.
We'll cut up some plywood to replace the trailer sides so we can paint them to protect the wood.
It's Sunny Sunday morning hopefully it sticks around a bit, we're both tired of all this rain and it's just encouraging the mosquitos.
I sprayed bug spray around the house foundation Sunday.
We got the plywood cut up for the trailer sides then we looked to see what we had for paint in the basement, Rose'll start painting the trailer sides, she finished, the trailer parts look great painted.
4:30 AM the robins started their morning song calling the light
The pregnant deer has banished her twins from last year Rose thinks she'll have the fawn any day now.
Rose exited the workshop to find a Pitbull with no collar on at the corner of the barn, she retreated and the dog left.
Phoebe's built two tiny nests on the back of the barn, one had babies in it. One day they we were seeing just heads waiting to be fed, the next day the two fledglings were standing on the edge of the nest, the next day they had all flown the coop, that was fast.
There's a crazy sloppy birds nest on the side of the workshop, long grass hanging down from the sides of it.
Friday I finished trimming the trailer side pieces, Rose and I mowed for a couple hours then worked on replacing the trailer lights. We found the cable I needed to test the trailer lights finding the wiring for the car connector was damaged. Great!
More damned rain on Saturday, my tomato plant in the back yard is growing like crazy...
Variegated WeigeliaRhododendron
Happy 250th Birthday US Army!
We played catch with Winston and Zebulon in the front yard for a while, we'd ignored them working all day.
Saturday we'll pick up a bunch of stuff we've been meaning to get. Went to Manchester, Home depot bought some paint, rollers, etc. then off to Burlington Coat Factory, they had a guard in a bullet proof vest guarding the door, letting people through a strap one at a time, then on the way out each person had to wait for the strap to be lifted so you could leave, was I in some alternative universe? WTH is this? Today was the last time I'll ever shop there again, unarmed anyway! We're rethinking everywhere we go now, evidently things got real bad in Manchvegas and I just didn't see it. I'm assuming this is due to mobs robbing stores blind. I've only seen mobs raping and pillaging stores on TV and videos.
We're getting psyched to see Jason home on leave soon, he'll be arriving on June 20th!!
Woke up with the Robins at 4:30AM this morningBEDFORD, N.H. — Two New Hampshire police officers were hit by a car early Sunday morning and treated at the hospital, authorities said.
Backup was called to the scene and the driver of the car, Brandon Legere, 43, of Manchester, attempted to flee in the vehicle, hitting the two officers and two police cruisers, police said.
The crazies are getting closer...
I was putting the last of the finishing touches on the trailer, last screw, impact driver slipped off the screw head driving the Phillips bit deep right into the side of my thumb, ouch, ouch, ouch...
To those of you who are Fathers.
Happy Father's Day!
It's a big job.
I took Winston to the Vet for his yearly check up, he did great!
Gas was $2.78 a couple weeks ago now it's over $3.03 a gallon
We're going into the heat over the next 5 days up to 99 degrees on Tuesday

The mainstream media and Democrat politicians have long insisted that mass deportations would cripple the American economy.
But the reality unfolding in Nebraska tells a starkly different story—one that demolishes the Left’s open-border talking points and affirms what millions of Americans already know: Mass deportation works.
“Mainstream media” shocked they are being treated as the Liberal activists they truly are by inciting LA riots then pretending to cover them in an unbiased manner
KING OF FUNDED MAYHEM George Soros likely behind L.A. terror riots in effort to preserve illegal immigrant vote counts for Democrats at midterm elections
Democrats will do what Marxist globalists and Western Intelligence agencies have been doing across the world for many years: instigate riots, mayhem, sabotage, and general rebellion. For months, every American with two brain cells and a pulse has understood that Democrats were preparing for a 2020 “summer of love” reunion tour now that President Trump is back in the White House. Just as they took advantage of fentanyl fanatic George Floyd’s death by railroading four Minneapolis police officers and kicking off a months-long rampage of arson, looting, and murder in Democrat-run cities across the U.S. five years ago, violent Democrats have been salivating at the chance to turn the summer of 2025 into a bloody, fiery nightmare for law-abiding Americans. It’s what Democrats do.
The fake Bird Flu narrative is falling apart at the seams, and nobody seems to be worried about it or rushing to the doc-in-the-box for some toxic jabs, so the BIG LIE must shift to a new, deadly, horrific, fast-spreading Wuhan Cave Flu narrative. Yes, the new variant is spreading around the globe faster than Fauci can remove his mask after a plandemic press conference. Run for your lives. Lock yourself down. Cover your children’s eyes, ears and nose with something, anything. This is the big one. Sure.
Listen to the words...
