This stalk of Corn growing in the parking lot at work... struck me as funny
Excitement today Tuesday 9/13 at the house, our big Elm tree just off the driveway came crashing to the ground into the driveway this morning around 11am. Rose said she felt the crash from inside the house, the dogs were not impressed at all either. The Elm broke off about 10 feet up from the ground and the entire tree came down.
After a couple hours with rakes, and a chainsaw we were able to get into and out of the driveway once again. Still a lot of limb cleanup to do, and I'll need to get the remaining trunk cut up but overall we were very lucky, no damage to our barn, other trees or shrubs. It did take out our phone line, our phone company was here for a couple hours and had our internet back up and running again.
We'd finished cleaning up enough space in the driveway to get by the Elm, we were sitting in the cabana and Rose saw a Fisher cat run across the field, that's the second time in two weeks she's seen him, he's big.
It was 39 Degrees on Saturday morning when I got up, it's coming... soon.

The boys came down to help with the tree aftermath in the driveway. The boys showed up at 8am on Sunday, before it warmed up and rained. We are so lucky to have Great Grandsons to help out with the big stuff once in a while. They were here for maybe 3 hours and we have all the tree-trunks and brush debris completely removed!

texted me Friday afternoon, we had just mentioned last weekend that
Zebulon our German Shepherd Dog (GSD) had given up on taking and chewing
our LED yard lights, and this afternoon as she was painting the back
step she looked over and there's Zeb chewing on one from the back yard.
He's not 4 yet we've been told by a few people with GSDs that they
don't reach maturity until they are four. One can only hope...

and I mowed the yard and field, it takes a lot out of us these days, we
recuperated Sunday, Rose re-potted and trimmed up some of the
houseplants that will come into the house before frost. We hung the gutters on the
back porch and the back of the dog house.
Almost mid-September. The garden is really winding down now. There's lots of ripening Tomatoes, some splitting open and many obviously attacked by Squash Bugs.
Winter is coming. The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts that the winter of 2022-2023 will be harsh, for most of the country.
I saw a hawk fly down and pounce on something in the back field and carry it up into the poplars to feast.
Rose painted the back steps, they look like new, we put on new slip resistant treads too.

NEW: CBP reports 10 people on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) were arrested by Border Patrol at Southern border in July. There have now been 66 TSDB hits so far in FY’22. That’s more than double the previous 5 years combined.
The flames are being fanned.
There was Joe Biden’s speech casting Trump supporters as villains. The attacks on dissent are nearly constant. Celebrities are being praised on outlets beloved by millions of young people for walking away from their own families over politics.
Ladies, no one in the Federal government has any power over the abortion issue. Not in the U.S. Senate, not in the House, not the President, and not with any federal agency, period. Maggie is lying to you. She wants you to think if you elect her, she can help reinstate Rowe. She can not.
It is now a State issue, and as of now abortion, here in NH is still legal. The possibility of that status changing is slim to none. If anyone tells you otherwise, they are blowing smoke up your skirts.
Everything is meant to be divisive, to cause even more internal strife in America before the midterm elections by painting approximately half of the country as the enemy. No longer are differing opinions a constitutionally protected right – they’re practically criminal and seen as a reason for hatred.
The biggest threat to our country right now is the politicians and
public figures telling us how much we should hate and fear each other.
The Pope has twice mentioned world war, having all churches sending their funds to the Vatican. Its getting scary with Biden's proxy war with Russia, ths whole China/Taiwan deal, and of course North Korea had to announced they were a Nuclear power now.
Biden, Harris and the White House have been lying and denying on issues like:
- Cackling Kamala Harris repeatedly stating that there is no border crisis.
- Biden, Kamala Harris, Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortes, Al Gore and the Department of Energy believing that mankind can control the weather and climate by changing they’re behaviors, i.e. going green, buying all electric cars, stop all Fossil Fuel (which is Renewable Energy)s, stop eating meat, etc.
- Biden’s policies that male and female are inter-changeable and one can choose their personal pronouns and gender at will.
- Biden and his Department of Education believing that it is the governments duty to teach underaged children, K-3, about sex and any parent who speaks out against this is designated as a domestic terrorists by Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland.
- Being queer (LGBTQ+) is a healthy behavior and life choice that must be encouraged, promoted, funded and even mandated.
- Taking Covid vaccines is the only right thing to do. Not to get vaxxed is a form of fascism.
