It's the 4TH of JULY!

A single doe came in to the deer yard Saturday morning at 5AM, another came in around 9:30am

Rose weedwhacked the entire yard on Friday, and she did some mowing, I finished the mowing Saturday morning before the rain. I carefully mowed one row around the bottom back field, one of the does has been hanging around there all morning, so I didn't want to spook a fawn if it was in there.

Rose and I moved some of the Solar cables, so they don't get mowed.

We picked Black Raspberries that were ripe, there's more coming in. We checked the Blueberries the other day they are still a couple weeks out, a bumper crop is coming.

It's going to be 92 degrees on Sunday with thunderstorms rolling in.

Another Sunday storm is predicted, potential 70MPH winds, 1"- 11/2" inch hail possible too. Looks to be going south of us, we're hoping anyway.

Rose and I emptied the dehumidifier in the camper, pulled out some more stuff from the boys graduation party taking it down to the barn, we grabbed a few cider blocks from the barn and brought those out to field, fed the deer on the way.

It's JULY 1st today!

I need to pull the lawnmower blades off the tractor today and sharpen them up, whew what a project, my ramps are missing, tried a couple boards too steep, finally said the hell with it deciding instead to remove the mower deck, PITA, got it off, and my compressor was giving me fits, not enough air pressure to drive my impact gun, fiddled with it for a bit, found a hose popped off, back to the tractor, I was able to get the two bolts on the blades off now, back to the shop for the grinder, 15 minutes of grinding, good enough. Back on the tractor they went, another hour putting the deck back on, looking up the belt diagram, changed the belt orientation and away I went a mowing once again.

Rose decided to wash down the Cub Cadet tractor, it needed it, it's sparkling now...

It's supposed to be HOT the next 3-4 days

Rose saw 4 bucks come into the yard last night, she felt sorry for the single spiked buck being chased by all of the larger racked bucks.

We had to get a sparrow out of the screen house this morning he flew right out after we pulled back the screen door.
