Finally Friday!

It's Friday, December 16th, at 4am we had barely a quarter inch, by 7:30am we had a good 3-4" of some heavy sticky "bring the trees down snow!" It's a heavy big flake snow!  We'll wait and see just how bad this'll get. It was amazingly quiet and calm this morning at 4 AM, only the occasional sanding truck disturbing the silence. I'm going to Work from Home today just in case we lose power. 

We managed to keep our power on during the storm as of Saturday morning we have 3 or so inches of snow on the ground, a heavy slushy mix.

Damned cold out on Wed morning as I was putting the trash out early, 18 degrees with a stiff breeze blowing.

Our fox trotted through the the back yard out to the deer yard, we didn't see him but saw his telltale footprints in the snow, we have 2 or so inches of snow on the ground.

The doggo's love the snow, I've been making them snowballs and tossing them, I need to be careful with Zeb, he likes to try and take the snowball right outta my hands as I make them.

The final meteor shower of 2022 will be the Ursid meteor shower, which will be visible in the northern hemisphere from Dec. 17 through Dec. 26 and will likely reach its peak during the late-night hours of Dec. 22 into the early morning hours on Dec. 23.

The price of Eggs is up 26% month over month Oct-Nov.

The bottom line is that the global food crisis that erupted in 2022 is likely to intensify quite a bit more in 2023.

Our FBI is corrupt and discredited, collaborating with Silicon Valley contractors to suppress free speech and warp elections. We practice segregation and racial discrimination and claim we do not because the right and good people support it and, anyway, the victims deserve it. The country has seen defeat before but never abject, deliberate humiliation as in Kabul, when we fled and abandoned to the terrorist Taliban a $1 billion embassy, a huge, remodeled air base, thousands of friends, and tens of billions of dollars in military hardware—and hard-earned deterrence.

We are witnessing the breakdown of basic norms essential for civilized life, from affordable food and fuel to available key antibiotics and baby formula.

The left is desperate for power and is willing to deploy CCP-style censorship tactics to silence any opposition.

Twitter is the only social media giant shining a light on the tech sector’s willing participation in government fascism. What about Facebook, Google, YouTube, and Instagram? Will any sunlight shine on their similar practices?  It’s clear that the US government, both on the federal and state level, worked with social and traditional media to censor and suppress free speech, push favored agenda, punish political opponents, and influence elections, all in violation of the First Amendment.

You may remember that the "For the People" Act was a lot less useful to the people than it was to the Democrat party.  The "Inflation Reduction Act" did nothing to reduce inflation.  And the "Don't Say Gay" bill did not ban the word "gay."

The "Respect for Marriage" Act purportedly "legalizes" same-sex "marriage."  Because the Supreme Court already ruled on this matter, the law does not expand legal protection for same-sex couples in any way.  The law, in part, requires private businesses to perform services they object to on moral grounds.  This law should be called the "disrespect for personal freedom" act.

December 15th is Bill of Rights Day. (The Bill of Rights became law on this day in 1791, following ratification by the state of Virginia.) We encourage our American readers to gather publicly and read the Bill of Rights aloud.

The plants that produce the world’s antibiotics are going to run into production problems when their workers get sick. On top of that, China’s going to need their antibiotics to deal with secondary infections. They’ll be making less. They’ll be exporting less. That means less for us.

Maybe India can take up the slack. They supply more of the world’s drugs than China. I wouldn’t count on it, not with most of Europe and Canada also experiencing shortages. It’s a real mess.

The best course of action here is to not get sick.

Because the “Trust & Safety” crew at Twitter was apparently 100% left-wing, it was always conservatives who had to fear banishment for Thought Crimes, and now that Elon Musk has started cleaning house, the Left is claiming victimhood because not only have they lost the power to silence their enemies, they themselves are now at risk of being silenced for engaging in abusive behavior that they’ve become accustomed to dishing out, but never taking.
