All's well

All's well

Rose and I are improving by the day, we both have a nasty cough that refuses to go, but overall we feel better!

I cut Roses hair on Wednesday night, it was halfway down her back.

Well, the Suet has been out for a couple days now, no bear!

We got to see Jason at Shaws, over the weekend, it was great to see him again.

Rose is decorating for Christmas, It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here... she keeps finding stuff that we forgot we even had.

Rosie saw one of the Cottontail rabbits today, it's been months since we've seen them, we assumed one of the numerous hawks, foxes, fisher-cat, predators got them, nope they're still here...

My lifelong quest to find the perfect pocket flashlight continues, (I blame my flash'oholic tendencies on dad who mostly bought those cheapo disposable lights at the checkout line back in the 70s, flashlights back then were all bad, compared to today's LED lights, I remember the chrome and plastic eveready "D" lights too) I purchased several of the Mag-lights back in the day, they were ok, big and heavy though, then the 9V lanterns caught my eye, I have too many multibattery blasters that are great to light the yard up like it's daytime, but those are big too.  I purchased a few AA battery lights but those too along with my keys, lighter, and knife I carry were just a tad too big. The single AAA powered Fenix LD02 100 lumen that I always have in my pocket I've recently found lacking in output. It's always a toss up between a light that is too big with great output or a smaller AAA light that either isn't pushing the lumens I want or has too few levels of output...  I'm looking at a 405 lumen light now, my precious... Oh what fun.

We had a mob (murder) of 3 or so crows this morning all upset at something, cawing up a storm, a minute later we saw a bobcat slinking along the back of the field towards the pine grove. The crows followed him along cawing the whole time until he disappeared into the underbrush.  Good alarm i'd say...

A sweet little bird crashed into her window and after this beautiful interaction, she flew away fit as a fiddle. A golden hour miracle

Dutch guitarist Lazlo Buring brilliantly reimagined the iconic Pink Floyd song “Comfortably Numb” as played in the highly distinctive style of Dire Straits.

While playing to a truly appreciative audience at Arena di Verona for their fifth anniversary, the talented Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser of 2CELLOS performed their own unique interpretations of the classic AC/DC songs “Highway to Hell“, “Back in Black” and “Thunderstruck“. During the first song, Hauser did a loose impression of guitarist Angus Young as he stomped around the stage in unbuttoned shirtsleeves with a loosened tie, blinking LED red horns on his head and a cello strapped to his chest.

Ten more days until things start to stay light longer.

Coming to a bank near you...  in KY. “Transaction declined: Charge declined RESTRICTED CARD Customer bank does not allow this card to be used at this type of merchant.”  “It was never about gathering data to aide law enforcement. It is, and always has been, a concerted effort to pressure credit card companies to deny lawful purchases of firearms and put every single gun purchaser on a watch list.”

All in all, Rose and I are slowly coming to terms with the fact that we are half the manual laborers we used to be...    Sad...

Mainstream economists and commentators lie to the public about the chances of recovery, constantly giving false reassurances and lulling people back to sleep. Even now with price inflation pummeling the average consumer they tell us that there is nothing to worry about. The Federal Reserve’s “soft landing” is on the way.

Oil prices in the US are being kept down by Joe Biden’s constant supply dumps from the strategic reserves. Eventually Biden is going to run out of oil to drop on markets and he will have to replenish those reserves at a much higher cost.

Did some Christmas shopping this weekend, wow that was a lot of walking...

“Nothing is more important than the safety and security of the American people,” said National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd, “but to President Biden it is an afterthought. With a record number of people and drugs, including deadly fentanyl, crossing our border illegally and evading apprehension, it is apparent Biden cares more about politics than our children, friends and neighbors. Biden’s record clearly proves he cares about politics, not about doing his job of protecting American lives.”

Iran Threatens to Turn the World into Graveyard for US, Israel, Saudis

By World Israel News, Dec 12, 2022

Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), predicted that Israel would soon fall and Iran will use the impending “world war” as a “graveyard” for the policies of the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia and their allies.

Maggie Hassan started her media blitz in the fall of 2021, a full year before the election. The first phase was about what an incredible Senator we had with Maggie. If you believed her ads, she was a rainmaker for passing bills as if she was the writer and sole signer. It was pure gaslighting. Once her opponent was determined, the ads went negative, and most were fact-checked as inaccurate. It didn’t matter. The ads were relentless, and the rebuttals never saw the light of day. Hassan spent $114 per vote. Politics is repulsive. Maggie Hassan, the Democrat incumbent, spent $38 Million.

About 9 million Americans with student loans who had applied for the Biden administration's student-debt relief program mistakenly received emails last month that said their applications had been approved.  Oopsie not so fast.

When House Republicans hold hearings next year on the influence-peddling operation of the Biden Crime Family, it’ll be dismissed by one and all as “old news.” They’ll tell us about how the American people are struggling and about how they’re interested in solutions, not petty partisanship. If the news was inconvenient and the allegations had been out there for a while, it was “old news.” Whitewater? Filegate? Zippergate? Old news. Fast and Furious? Benghazi? The IRS scandal? More old news.

Here are just some of the issues dragging us down.

  • The Religion of Climate Change
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Woke Educational Policies
  • World Instability
  • Assault on Privacy
  • Instant & Unfiltered Communications

Senator John N. Kennedy who recently warned us about the scourge of liberals carrying around zip-locked bags of kale and "hyperventilating on yoga mats if you use the wrong pronoun."

Pfizer can identify illnesses they think will bring in billions of dollars in profit, create drugs to manage (not cure) them, and then sell them to a public already conditioned to take them.

The COVID “Vaccinated” Are A Health Threat To The Unvaccinated, Warns Dr. McCullough, Citing a paper recently published in the TMR journal Infectious Diseases Research, McCullough shared details about how messenger RNA (mRNA) can transfer from the fully jabbed to the unjabbed since these chemicals persist in the blood for at least two weeks – and likely much longer – post-injection.

“This is just the start of ‘the beginning of sorrows’ Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24:8,”

401(k) Investors, Beware

If you put money into a 401(k), beware. Until now, the law always required fund managers entrusted with your savings to invest the money where it’s expected to get the top return for you. Period. But on Nov. 22, Biden’s Labor Department announced a rule change that goes into effect the end of January. It will allow fund managers to invest your money in the stocks of companies that favor left-wing policies, even if they earn a lower return.

It’s legalized theft. The future return on your retirement nest egg is being sacrificed to advance a woke agenda.

“The DNC and Biden Team knew they had friends at Twitter who would do their bidding during the election. And Twitter lied to the FEC about that influence…. But that’s just at the surface….”

Griner vs Whelan

Nothing new – our so-called imitation president is a sleazeball. Always has been, always will be. Words aren’t sufficient to express the disgust.

Prayers asked in the darkness of our closet (out of the sight of others) will be heard “in the light” where God dwells. Looking around, I think it’s time to get serious about praying.

The Pentagon has failed its annual audit for the fifth year in a row, an expected result that nonetheless represents something of a disappointment for an effort that officials hoped would continue steady, if incremental, year over year progress. . . . The Pentagon has failed every audit since 2018, the first audit of the department ever performed in its history.  - Here's a thought, how about we pay taxes again when they eventually pass an audit!

 That is all...
